Power BI dashboards for every user, without a license for each one.
Dobler Insights puts your Power BI dashboards and reports in front of everyone who needs them, and nobody needs a Power BI license to open one. Each person sees only their own rows, however they sign in. Give us one spreadsheet, and in days you can be looking at a working dashboard built on it.
A proof of value is built on your own data, so you can judge it before you commit to anything.
Each person sees only their own rows. No Power BI license for each one.Illustrative data
Getting reports in front of people should not mean a license for every viewer.
Most organizations on Microsoft already build their reports in Power BI. Sharing them widely is where it gets hard, and it is worth seeing why before you buy anything.
Count the people who should see the numbers, then count the Power BI licenses you have.
The gap between the two is usually the reason reports go out as exports and screenshots instead.
Security is tied to one directory.
Row-level security is simplest when everyone signs in through your own Microsoft Entra ID. Customers, partners and field staff often do not, so they get an export instead.
The data has to be assembled first.
The numbers live in spreadsheets and line-of-business databases, and building the pipeline that brings them together is usually the longest part of any reporting project.
One framework takes you from raw data to a secured report.
Unlimited viewers, no Power BI license each.
Dobler Insights delivers Power BI dashboards, reports and paginated reports through its own delivery framework. The people you give access to sign in to the Dobler Insights portal, not to Power BI, and open them there without a Power BI license, so adding a viewer never means adding a license. It does not replace Power BI. Your reports are still Power BI reports; they are delivered differently.
Row-level security for any sign-in.
Each viewer sees only the rows they are allowed to see. The rule lives in the data model, it works with Microsoft Entra ID and with other ways of signing in, and it cannot be bypassed by editing a report or changing a URL.
Files and databases, through one engine.
Spreadsheets and CSV files are checked against their expected structure and loaded into tables. Databases are copied into daily snapshots, and history builds up from there, so you can report on how the numbers have changed, not only where they stand today.
A dashboard in days, the same way every time.
We can take a spreadsheet and have a working dashboard in days. The process is the same for every source, so the second source and the tenth report go the same way as the first.
How it works
- Bring one source. A spreadsheet, a CSV export, or a connection to a database.
- We load and structure it. The ingest engine checks the data and loads it into Lakehouse and Warehouse storage on Microsoft Fabric.
- We build the report. A Power BI dashboard or report on your data, with row-level security applied.
- Your people open it. Through the Dobler Insights portal, with their own sign-in and no Power BI license.
Built on the Microsoft data stack.
Dobler Insights is anchored on Microsoft Fabric, with Lakehouse and Warehouse storage, and delivered through Power BI. Fabric Control, the Dobler Data Solutions control plane for Microsoft Fabric, handles monitoring, backup and capacity management for the platform.
See it on your own data first.
Send us one data source: a spreadsheet or a database connection. In days, we build a working, secured dashboard on it, so you can judge Dobler Insights on your own numbers, with your own people signing in, before you decide anything. We would rather you judge the real thing than a demo built on somebody else's data.
How many people in your company should be looking at the numbers today, and how many of them have a license?
Questions
Do the people who view reports need a Power BI license?
No. Viewers sign in to the Dobler Insights portal, not to Power BI, and the portal shows them reports through Power BI Embedded. That holds for your own staff as well as customers and partners, however many of them there are. People who build or edit reports in Power BI itself still need a Power BI Pro or Premium Per User license.
Does row-level security work for people outside our Microsoft Entra ID directory?
Yes. Row-level security works with any sign-in method, including SAML and other identity providers, so customers, partners and field staff can each be limited to their own rows.
What data can Dobler Insights take in?
Files and databases. Spreadsheets and CSV files are checked and loaded into tables, and databases are copied into daily, read-only snapshots, with history building up from there.
How long does it take to get a first dashboard?
A first dashboard takes days, starting from a spreadsheet. The process is the same for every source, so it repeats for the next source and the next report.
What is it built on?
